Far from sealed roads, electricity, running water, anything that we take for granted in the west. Rural Cambodia feels so unspoilt. I headed down a track on foot, not too sure where it would lead me. In the end, it didn't actually lead anywhere, but it was still fun, and I don't know what I wouldn't give to do the same thing now as I sit here in the cold.

The Moto
Due to the state of the economy, Cambodia doesn't seem to have as many 'motos' as some of its neighbours. However there are still heaps about. Women tend to perch on the back, easy for the traditional dress or skirts. This shot was taken whle racing round the corner, getting a run up for the up hill drag!

I Wish I Got Closer...
Walked for 1 1/2 hours from Tanah Rata, down a windy road deeper and deeper into the valley, until finally I found the Cameron Tea Plantation. I climbed over the bush, and just walked in, but I stayed up on top.I wish I had walked further in, closer to the tea pickers. Not even my 70-300mm lens would get close enough! Next time I'll get in there...

Cattle On Route No. 6
Route No. 6 is the main highway through Cambodia. Only recently has it been sealed, a few years back it was still dust. Alot of cattle gets walked along the side, and I hope it's not me infront when one decides to cross the road - it does happen. The driver was braking, swerving and accelerating so often that I struggled to get any sharp shots...
